How our energy sensors are made

Our sensors include precision components that ensure measurement linearity, accuracy, and reproducibility [V.I.M. 3rd edition] at any specified temperature (-30°C to +88°C). Temperature variations within the cell are compensated by advanced circuits, and each cell is uniquely treated for long-term stability.

High-quality materials allow our sensors to pass IEC EN 61215 aging tests for photovoltaic modules. Thermopile pyranometers in our range measure solar irradiance across 300 – 2900nm, surpassing photovoltaic cells (330 – 1100nm) and are ideal for meteorological and global solar energy measurements. They comply with ISO 6090.

Since 2012, Soluzione Solare has produced the WINDMETER, a vane anemometer with Modbus RS485 output, offering reliability in high electromagnetic noise environments and over long distances. Our products emphasize measurement accuracy and cost-effectiveness. The WindMeter can be provided with a MEASNET calibration certificate upon request.

How we carry out the

Sensors calibration

Each sensor is individually calibrated against a primary sensor from the Dakks-accredited ISFH institute.
Calibration adheres to IEC 60904-4 standards (for photovoltaic sensors) and ISO 9847 standards (for thermopile sensors). These sensors, crucial for photovoltaic system performance, are built and tested according to IEC 60904 guidelines.

Designed for outdoor use, our sensors exhibit minimal drift due to meticulous production. Compliance and recommended calibration intervals keep them within calibration limits (UNI EN 30012).

We offer calibration services using a reference cell regularly calibrated by ISFH. Each calibration generates a report provided to the customer.
All calibration steps use DAKKS and ACCREDIA certified instruments, ensuring complete traceability for each product.
