TM3-485 is an essential complement for who use Thermopile pyranometer to calculate Performance Ratio. In fact Thermopile pyranometers don’t have plug for inserting temperature’s module probe; This makes the calculation of the P.R. incomplete since the module temperature is not recorded, or there is a PT100 whose cables must reach an RS485 converter in a frame. Now with a 10x7cm IP65 box you can record until 2 temperature measurements coming from 2 probes so that the monitoring system also has this data for calculating the P.R.
You can see our all new SUNMETER2, the most advanced Irradiation sensor able to start to record IRRADIATION of every days EVEN IF data logger IS NOT PROPERLY CONNECTED or has some issue in the communication and supply cable!! So, just you put it beside at a representative PV module of your PV field and it memorizes the irradiation of the day. After you can download all the week’s data you need to calculate the P.R. by making the ratio among irradiation and energy yielded each day.
