Litemeter Voltage Pro – Analog Irradiance & Temperature Sensor
Litemeter Voltage Pro is a analog photovoltaic pyranometer (or silicon irradiance sensor).
It measures solar irradiance and temperature and ideal for monitoring medium-sized PV systems. Manufacturing and calibrations are IEC 61215, IEC 60904-2, 60904-4 and 60904-10 compliant. This PV pyranometer is ABB approved for stringboxes, EVO dataloggers and for some inverter models.Physical features
The Silicon PV cell is laminated with E.V.A.. Moreover it has a high performance anti-reflective glass for PV modules. It guarantees the maximum precision in the measurement of irradiance and in addition, it measures of the indicative temperature of the photovoltaic modules next to it. It has an anodized aluminum housing for high durability, practical mounting bracket with screw clamp and a UV-resistant cable. This irradiance sensor has two signal outputs in voltage. One for solar irradiance and one for temperature. The solar irradiance signal is temperature compensated thus allowing readings that are independent of cell temperature.Calibration
We calibrate all Litemeters Pro with our Class A Silicon Reference Cell. This last periodically calibrated by the Dakks accredited ISFH Institute and a HP34410A Multimeter.
Note: the terms irradiance sensor, photovoltaic pyranometer, reference cell and solarimeter are interchangeable. On this site we will use photovoltaic pyranometer. To learn more click here.
